Company History Louis Royer began in 1853 when Louis Royer decided to open his own cognac business. Since then, four generations have been replacing each other, and the classic cognac farm is still considered one of the best in the world, as the family strictly follows the production traditions. They don't have their own vineyards, and the owners of the basement home Royer in the fall go to the winery to choose the most successful new wines as a basis for their cognacs.
