Description

This cuvée was previously called Tradition, a name chosen by Pierre's parents in the 1970s. The new name Latitude was chosen because the wine consists only of Chardonnay, which comes from the same latitude: Vertus in the south, where Pinot noir was historically planted. This is a generous terroir that creates a round, rich, charming style that still retains the purity characteristic of the estate's Champagnes. Pierre believes the wine has "pinot-like" characteristics, such as red fruit flavor and taste, despite being 100% Chardonnay, which he attributes to this unique terroir.
