Luigi Francoli
The Francoli family has distilled alcohol since 1875, when Louis Williams Francoli first installed the distiller at his home in Valtellina. His successors set up their own distillery in Ghemne in 1951. Fratelli Francoli is still a family owned and operated business. The Francoli family has been making traditional Italian liqueurs since the mid-1950s. To maintain the highest possible quality, the family uses a variety of infusion sets to allow the best natural flavors to be obtained. Over the decades, the Francoli family has gained fame for the quality of their grappa and liqueurs, but the family's ethical approach to nature is likely to be appreciated. After more than 30 years of working with other local companies and its own internal processes, Francoli was certified as a business with no environmental impact in 2006.
