Wine from Fabien Jouves made over at his stunning vineyard that lies between the limestone clay hillsides of the Cahors and Quercy wine regions. He is renowned worldwide for producing biodynamic wines that really boast the best attributes of their unique terroir. By implementing stellar and planetary rhythms into his farming methods, soil quality is increased hugely. The result is a selection of wines that shine with personality.\
Produced from a vineyard parcel of just one hectare, this cuvée, fermented in egg shaped tanks, has a good texture but is also very delicate, even in its youth. Unsurprisingly, this single varietal Malbec owes its name to its vinification and élevage in amphorae, with no sulphites added. This natural, living, terroir-driven wine is intensely fruity and impeccably clean. Made for cellaring, it will gain in density and complexity, lifting dishes of red meat and stews.
