On the nose tropical fruit notes, fresh lychee, Galia melon, pineapple, a hint of light stone and the varietal spice. Juicy and elegant on the palate, the pepper hits through easily, subtle mineral notes, very fine acidity with a minimal salty note, elegant melt with some pear and yellow gooseberry, good later pressure on the back. The Mühlpoint vineyard is located at the foot of the slope of the Steinertal and has loamy sand in the topsoil and typical Wachau gneiss underground.
